Zaidon is an acrocanthosaurus kaiju made by MaxleyWasTaken.
Appearance[]
Zaidon is a giant acrocanthosaurus with dark purple scales, and a light beige underbelly. He has two fingers with one giant claw on each hand. He sports a horn on the tip of his snout. He has spikes surrounding the tip of his tail.
History[]
1987[]
The JSDF had discovered a large amount of kaiju lived on Monsterland. In an attempt to eradicate all kaiju, the JSDF dropped multiple nukes on Monsterland. This plan however, backfired horribly. With the radiation from the nukes spreading to Monsterland's neighbouring island, Dinosaur Island. Which mutated the dinosaurs in the island into kaiju.
1988[]
A year after the dinosaurs in Dinosaur Island were irradiated, one of the dinosaurs that were mutated, Zaidon, looking to explore the world, started swimming over to Tokyo. Following Zaidon were two Gorosaurus' planning to hunt him down. Shortly after Zaidon got to Tokyo, the two Gorosaurus' followed him. One of the Gorosaurus' rushed towards Zaidon, with him knocking the Gorosaurus down with his claws. Zaidon then fired his ice beam at the other Gorosaurus, injuring it. The two Gorosaurus' later fled from Tokyo. Soon after the battle, the JSDF dispatched Kiryu to combat Zaidon. Unfortunately for Zaidon, the battle against Kiryu didn't go as well for him as the battle against the Gorosaurus'. With Kiryu injuring Zaidon with his Twin Maser Cannon, Zaidon had to flee back to Dinosaur Island to heal.
Abilities[]
- Ice Beam: Zaidon can fire a breath of ice from his mouth that is about -150 degrees.
- Ice Fog: By dispersing his ice breath, Zaidon can create fog in order to surprise attack or flee from opponents.
- Claws: Zaidon has a large hook like claw on his hands that are used for battering or stabbing.
Trivia[]
- The giant claw on Zaidon's hands were inspired by an old concept where he had axes for hands.
- The spikes surrounding the tip of Zaidon's tail were also inspired by an old concept where he had a chainsaw at the tip of his tail
