Wolfram is a Gigan-Godzilla Hybrid, and a Periodic Genesis Kaiju (PGK). Like the other PGKs, he was created by KoopaGalaxain.
Appearance[]
Wolfram bears a close resemblance to both of his base components, Godzilla and Gigan. He has the base configuration of Godzilla, but the golden scales, spikes, buzzsaw and beam aperture of Gigan. Wolfram's dorsal fins are similarly gold in colour, his skin is bright green, and his eyes, teeth and claws are bright red.
History[]
Pre-Dawn of Sepsis[]
After Francium wiped the ancient Earth clean, he created a set of seven sons to rejuvenate the Earth and leave it suitable for life once more, with Radium being among them. Alongside Radium, Wolfram was also tasked with being one of Francium's royal guards.
Eventually, Caesium, the first of the seven, began plotting to depose Francium and eliminate both him and Mercury to take his place. Enlisting Wolfram to join him, the two set their plans into motion on a moonlit night. Wolfram mortally wounded Francium, then cut down Mercury, killing the latter. Upon seeing what Caesium and Wolfram had done, the other PGKs soon defected to their side, unwilling to oppose the two of them.
Periodic Genesis: Dawn of Sepsis[]
Interim Saga[]
Wolfram was the first of the PGKs to die following Sepsis's order for his three subordinates - Keratos, Myos and Organon - to kill them off as part of his goals to subjugate the Earth. Organon was the one to kill Wolfram, using his Ultimate Phenomenon's Artery Storm technique to pierce through Wolfram's body with several arteries, killing him near-instantly in a gruesome act which was witnessed by Radium and Germanium. Although this shocked Germanium, Radium couldn't help but admit that he didn't grieve for Wolfram's loss, given the violence he had resorted to in killing Mercury and assaulting Francium to the brink of death, then forcing Radium to immolate the latter.
Council of Creators[]
Alongside the other PGKs, Wolfram is set to appear in a future episode of Council of Creators.
Abilities[]
- Optic Laser: Wolfram can fire a version of Gigan's laser from the beam aperture on his forehead or his eyes.
- Buzzsaw: Wolfram can use his version of Gigan's buzzsaw to slice opponents.
- Claw Blades: Wolfram can extend the claws on his hands into scythe-like blades to attack opponents with.
- Levitation: Though Wolfram lacks Gigan's wings, he can levitate for brief periods of time, allowing him limited flight.
Trivia[]
- Wolfram is the only PGK whose name doesn't reflect the most common name of their respective element; Wolfram is named for the alternate name of the metal element Tungsten, which has the symbol of W on the periodic table of the elements.
