Universe 1996 is a universe created by KoopaGalaxain, and is the first Universe on the FMK Wiki to have been created by said user.
Overview[]
Universe 1996's Earth had been wracked by political tensions and global austerity for years. In 2016, having barely recovered from a global recession that began in 2008, most of the world's population hoped that the future would be more prosperous and peaceful. Unfortunately, this was not to be.
In 2017, the first army of monsters appeared in South Africa. Disturbed by research being carried out on them, the Haemophagic Demon Trees launched an assault on humanity. A war began, but the armies of the world only became food for the hulking creatures, who began to spread across the world. All hope seemed lost until a monster long thought to be just a legend surfaced in the Pacific Ocean, intent on wiping out the mutant plants.
Even though humanity was saved by this mysterious kaiju, this was just the beginning of a series of bizarre events that would shake Universe 1996's Earth...
