Oh wait it's just Gaia.

Appearance[]

Ultraman Gaia.

History[]

One day Ultraman Gaia was simply minding his business, going about his day, and hanging out with his Ultra comrades.

Then, all of a sudden, a portal opened, and Gaia remembered they were in Universe 986, a universe his fondess for travelling to always varied.

To make matters worse, a Godzilla fanboy suddenly appeared from the portal. Stating his name was "Jon Reves", the fanboy caught glimpse of the Ultras.

Unable to let them simply go about their day, the fanboy began to rant about the Ultras having individual names, and stated that they should be referred to by their years, like the way Godzilla designs were referred to by most fans.

Thus, he began listing off this proposed change, much to the annoyance of the gathered Ultras.

As part of this, Gaia was given the title of "Ultraman 1998". However, simply uttering the year "1998" sent Mr. Reves into a complete rage. He began ranting about the 1998 Godzilla film incessantly claiming it flew in the face of Godzilla's "instantaneous regeneration" by depicting him as so weak.

The Ultras, believing him to be of no real harm, simply facepalmed.

However, they would be proven wrong.

The fanboy became so angry that a Red Lantern ring flew over to him and bestowed him with its powers. Due to his innate rage, the fanboy became insanely powerful as a result of the ring attaching itself to him.

The fanboy became rampaging and destroying everything in sight, intent on burning TriStar studios to the ground for the "offense" he believed the 1998 Godzilla film to be. Luckily, after some effort, Ultraman Gaia and the other Ultras defeated the fanboy with a combined beam attack, ending his reign of annoyance.

Unfortunately, Gaia wouldn't live down this encounter, often being called "Ultraman 1998" teasingly by his friends from that moment on.

Abilities[]

  • Literally Ultraman Gaia.

Trivia[]

  • This page is a parody of another parody, Gamera 1998, intent on applying the same concept to Ultraman, and pointing out how that's impossible because there is an Ultraman 1998, except he's literally just Ultraman Gaia.
    • Furthermore it mocks the trend of taking a Godzilla variation and applying the concept to another Kaiju.
