Sonic The Kaiju looks like Sonic The Hedgehog, but as a Kaiju.
History[]
The Golden Age[]
Sonic used to be a very popular video game Kaiju in the 90's. He was in good games and, despite a certain awful cartoon, people loved him. Things were pretty good.
The Decent[]
Fans starting complaining about Sonic's games not being as good anymore.
Rise of the Internet[]
With the internet, Sonic's popularity and fandom grew. However, this brought ought people who liked Sonic...a bit too much. Sonic's fandom soon turned to cancer, leaving him disappointed in what they had become.
The Fall[]
With the release of the 2006 video game, Sonic's popularity was at an all-time low. His fandom remained as cancerous as ever. Sonic's self esteem had reached an all time low as well. Sonic fell into a depression as several online critics tore his games apart. This was a sad day for the blue kaiju. Sonic was a in a few games after that, but critics panned them without a second thought.
The End[]
By the time Sonic Boom was released, Sonic was a shell of his former self. It is unknown what he currently thinks of his situation, but is clear he has become slave to SEGA.
The Hope[]
In 2016, 2 new Sonic games were announced. They looked....good. Perhaps Sonic could redeem himself. His fandom however......they were too far gone.
