Sea Baragon is the first and only opponent in KoopaGalaxain's scrapped sprite comic, Hail to the King.
Appearance[]
Sea Baragon closely resembles his appearance in the 1992-93 manga series Godzilla, King of the Monsters by Hisashi Yasui and Hiroshi Kawamoto. He has no visible external ears, and an elongated horn on his forehead.
History[]
Hail to the King[]
The first of Doctor Oniyama's monsters to be sent after Godzilla, Sea Baragon assaulted Godzilla with his Magma Heat Ray.
Council of Creators[]
Return of the Fallen[]
Alongside the other monsters recruited from the Refugee Universe by Flurr, Sea Baragon makes an appearance in Return of the Fallen, the finale of Season 1. In this episode, he is one of the Kaiju dispatched to Universe 1996 to search for the Creators, unaware that they have actually travelled to Universe 2004. Sea Baragon faced Koopa in battle, and while he was able to gore the Creator with his horn, it did less damage than expected due to Koopa using his Absorption Inheritance to copy Hedorah's traits. He then snapped Sea Baragon's horn off and threw it into the monster's forehead, impaling their brain and killing them instantly.
Abilities[]
- Magma Heat Ray (マグマ熱線 Maguma Nessen?): Sea Baragon's beam technique, inherited from the Baragon he was recreated from. In Hail to the King, this weapon takes the form of a jet of fire, similar to its appearance in the Pipeworks trilogy of video games.
- Super Horn (スーパーホーン Sūpā Hōn?): Sea Baragon's elongated horn, which is placed in the centre of his forehead, is extremely sharp, effective as a stabbing weapon.
- Super Jump (スーパージャンプ Sūpā Janpu?): Sea Baragon can jump high into the air and leap incredible distances from a standing or crouching position.
