Mecha Rodan is a robotic duplicate of Rodan created by Square Enix
Appearance[]
Obviously, Mecha Rodan resembles a robotic version of Rodan. It also has the Super X ll's fire mirror sticking out from it's chest
History[]
After the particularly difficult battle in Universe 986, Square Enix decided they needed to create weapons specifically designed to combat that universe's Kaiju, and thus project "Mecha Everyone" was born. Mecha Rodan was the result of SE attaining data on Rodan Jr, and building their robot based in that data. SE also salvaged the remains of the Super X ll, which had been destroyed after it's defeat at the hands of Super Biollante. Square rebuilt the craft's fire mirror, and attached to the robot in order to counter Rodan Jr's Uranium Heat Beam, or any other Kaiju beams. Once completed, Mecha Rodan was sent out for a test, where it killed a few Gyoas. Now, Mecha Rodan is one of many SE robots waiting to be deployed in their final offensive.
