Koseiru is an alien kaiju made by KingOfKretaceous, and is the 2nd enemy of Sharkosuchus.
Name[]
Koseiru is a combination of the words kosshi, meaning bone or marrow, and ryōseirui, meaning amphibian. This mostly eludes to the skeletal appearance of Koseiru, but also the amphibiousness of Koseiru due to his shapeshifting properties.
Design[]
Koseiru has five official forms. Most of his forms besides the microscopic stage are comprised mainly of two materials: a framework comprised of thick, skeletal material, and an even thicker muscular exterior. He also has vital organs such as the heart, the lungs, a brain and a stomach, all of which are hidden beneath his muscular hide.
Microbial Form[]
The most basic of Koseiru's forms, the Microbial Form, mostly resembles that of a prokaryotic bacteria on Earth. He has a flagellum and a capsule like most bacteria, and although he lacks the pili that many bacteria have, this is not enough to set him apart from regular bacteria as some species also have no pili. He is colored a medium shade of cream.
The key difference of the Microbial Form from regular bacteria is the mouth located on the front of the capsule; a structure no regular bacteria has. The mouth has two pairs of teeth that look very different; the top set resembles that of a lamprey mouth, while the bottom pair is closer to that of the hagfish. While the mouth cannot properly close and therefore cannot chew, it is most adept to sawing off small, easily swallowed chunks of food, which can then be used to begin constructing a more proper body.

Personality[]
Koseiru is hard-coded with a single instinct: to eat and grow by whatever means necessary. Throughout the course of his growth stages, Koseiru prefers to use the muscle and bones from life on Earth to gain biomass; his preference of these materials and his unending desire to grow larger leaves him with an extremely aggressive disposition.
Both in battle and while hunting, Koseiru retains three mindsets. If the encountered organism is certainly unable to defeat him, he will ruthlessly pursue and/or attack the creature until it gets away or perishes. However, he is more cautious the larger an organism is and if a fight is a less certain victory. Finally, if a confrontation would be a sure loss, or the tides of battle begin turning, he attempts to flee the scene to eventually gain strength and come back.
Origins[]
Koseiru originated as a microscopic bacteria in the Yaikala asteroid about one billion years in the past. The asteroid was ejected from its original solar system and began drifting aimlessly within interstellar space. Due to the extremely cold temperatures the vacuum of space holds, a permafrost developed in the asteroid that cryogenically froze Koseiru for the next 900 million years.

In 1997, after drifting through space for nearly a billion years, the Yaikala asteroid had reached its final destination: Earth. The asteroid's entry into the atmosphere was able to heat the asteroid enough to where the permafrost was able to melt, thereby freeing Koseiru. The subsequent impact into the Caribbean allowed Koseiru to begin freely roaming the seas looking for food. However the impact also disturbed numerous volcanoes within the ocean; something that would later lead to Koseiru's downfall.

Durability[]
Koseiru is very resistant to taking damage. His muscles are very thick, and the bones are extremely tough, essentially making Koseiru walking armor. This provides him with heavy protection from most physical and ranged attacks.
Echolocation[]
A special organ located inside Koseiru's skull allows him to echolocate, which is the mechanism he uses to see. The organ emits a special type of energy, which exits the skull through very small pores. The energy bounces off of the surrounding areas, back into the pores and into the organ, which sends signals to the brain. The process is involuntary, instantaneous and happens about every second, ensuring that he is constantly aware of his surroundings
Mass Absorption[]
Koseiru is able to grow by consuming matter, either through the mouth or - more rarely - directly through the muscles. The ingested object eventually enters the stomach, where a special chemical liquid disintegrates the object. After dissolving, the matter will leave the stomach and move to the outer layer of Koseiru's hide, where they can now be rearranged accordingly.
Form Manipulation[]
One of the most prominent abilities of Koseiru is his shape-shifting properties. Depending on his size and environment, he can transform his body to adapt to his surroundings. However, he normally needs to be a certain size to be able to transform into something new. This is because as the forms progress, they require more bones and muscle to be able to manifest themselves.
Acidic Mist[]
Koseiru can force up the chemical liquid in his stomach, which becomes gaseous and highly acidic upon contact with air. He can utilize the cloud of acidic mist to burn away opponent's skin, allowing him to collect mass more efficiently. He can also use the cloud to injure his opponent to provide a distraction to either counterattack or flee. The mist can also cause materials to disintegrate upon contact; for example, a building that was affected by the mist would begin to corrode.
Tongue Spear[]
Koseiru has a spear-like tongue that he can stab enemies with. The tongue emerges from a hole in the skull's mouth. It moves at a rapid speed and is very flexible, being able to quickly turn in the event of missing. Similarly to the Acidic Mist, this ability can be used to provide a diversion to attack or run; however unlike the Mist, the sharpness and sheer speed of the attack can inflict a deep, potentially fatal wound.
Muscle Tendrils[]
A secondary power stemming from the Form Manipulation, Koseiru can either turn its limbs into various shapes comprised of muscle, or create entirely new tendrils for the same purpose. The created tendrils can be used for a variety of purposes - some examples include extra stability by rooting into the ground, .
Bone Barrage[]
Koseiru can fire sharp bones out of his body at a rapid pace. The attack can cause enormous damage to any enemy, as the attack is essentially a much larger scale version of the Tongue Spear. Despite this, the ability causes Koseiru to slowly shrink, and after expulsion the bones are unable to be re-absorbed. Due to the drawbacks directly going against his goals, this is usually used as a last-ditch attack.
Weaknesses[]
Despite wielding immense strength, Koseiru is not invincible. The armor created by Koseiru's composition is less effective at smaller sizes, and even at larger sizes, very strong physical attacks can cause the muscles and bone to break and give way. At high temperatures the muscles can catch aflame, and even higher temperatures can eventually melt the bones.
