Kin is a Godzilla-Battra-King Ghidorah Hybrid (A 'King Godzilla', of sorts) created by KoopaGalaxain.
Appearance[]
Though described as being a 'King Godzilla', Kin bears virtually no resemblance to this namesake; his skin is light grey, and he has piercing blue eyes. He has King Ghidorah's wings, plus Battra's horn and tail. Finally, Kin has the Japanese character for 'Gold' (金) marked on his chest in golden yellow.
Ketsueki Kin has a drastically different appearance compared to the 'Standard' Kin. Instead of grey skin, Ketsueki Kin's skin is charcoal black. He has Battra's spines emerging from his tail, coloured red, red spikes on his shoulders, red dorsal plates, claws and teeth, and piercing red eyes. He also has Ghidorah's horns. In place of the 'Kin' glyph, Ketsueki Kin's torso is covered in a bright red 'blood vessel' design.
History[]
Kin[]
To be added.
Ketsueki Kin[]
At an unknown point after the emergence of the first Kin, a second Kin, formally named Ketsueki Kin, was created by the spirit of the Earth itself to eradicate humanity.
Abilities[]
Kin[]
- Flight: Kin can fly at a low speed, though, due to his sheer weight, this expends a significant amount of energy over time.
- Wing Lightning: Kin can discharge bolts of lightning akin to King Ghidorah's Gravity Beams from his wingtips.
- Horn Gore: Kin can use his horn to viciously gore opponents.
- Telekinesis: Kin can fire a psychic beam from his horn, capable of lifting, moving and manipulating nearby objects.
Ketsueki Kin[]
- Blood Crystallisation: Should Kin's skin be broken, he can solidify his blood into rigid crystals. This can serve as a form of armour, or as a means to form rudimentary blades to slice opponents with.
Trivia[]
- Kin is the very first 16-bit Kaiju sprite creation of mine, released to my deviantART account all the way back on July 17, 2014.
- Being named after an element on the periodic table (albeit using the Japanese name), Kin can be seen as a precursor to the Periodic Genesis Kaiju (PGKs) that I went on to make.
- Kin's bizarre appearance is partly due to the fact that at the time, I didn't own a copy of the second volume of the 1992 Kodansha manga Godzilla, King of the Monsters, and thus had to imagine what King Godzilla might look like. For a more accurate version of King Godzilla created by me, see King Godzilla (Hail to the King).
