Origins[]
About 12000 years ago, during the ice age, a prehistoric salamander got frozen in a glacier. Somehow, due to the condition of the area, The glacier survived up to the 20th century. in 1945, a nuke was dropped onto the glacier, and Hellbender was awoken. over the course of 76 years, Hellbender was mutated into a monster.
