Godzilla & The Martians is a British unlicensed video game developed for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum by Neil Streeter. It is closely modeled on the classic 1981 arcade game Donkey Kong.
Story[]
The Martians invade Earth, changing the molecular composition of the planet's air to make it compatible with their own. It is unknown if this is due to the fact that their planet has become inhospitable to them or if they just want Earth for themselves.
They have cornered "the girl of your dreams" on top of a construction site, though she is being protected by Godzilla, whom they are afraid to approach. They have made man traps to stop anyone who may try to rescue her. For what purpose they want her as well as their fate after she is safely rescued are unknown.
Gameplay[]

The player takes control of a small stick figure using controls based upon the number keys. They must jump over the Martians and pits to go save "the girl of your dreams" at the top.
The scoring system is based on going up ladders and level completion, as well as the Oxygen meter: The more oxygen left, the higher the number of points given upon completion.
Bugs[]
Despite what the instructions say, the player cannot lose from lack of oxygen. Furthermore, spending enough time before completing the game can result in a negative score upon completion, which cannot replace the default high score, as a negative score is lower than a score of 0.
