Godzilla is a giant monster protagonist of the Wattpad novel Godzilla: Invasion, a Godzilla fanfiction written by user DCSF (previously named Sonic2006fan).

Godzilla: Invasion[]
Godzilla along with his friend Anguirus had reached Iwato Island, their home. Tired of doing nothing, they fell to the ground until they saw Rodan in the sky, apparently being pursued by something that was emitting a red light. Upon landing, Godzilla managed to see what it was that was chasing Rodan, who turned out to be the cybernetic monster Gigan. As Anguirus panicked, Godzilla decided to confront Gigan, hitting and kicking him, as he hit him with his hammer hands. Anguirus got involved in the battle, but was injured by Gigan's saw, which damaged his head. Godzilla when seeing this shot his Atomic Breath, driving Gigan away, who flew and disappeared into the clouds.
After Rodan healed Anguirus with his energy, Godzilla went to the water to rest. Only without knowing it he had gotten into Manda's territory, which began to become entangled in his body. Godzilla managed to hit him with his tail and knock him out with a punch to the head. As he went out and ate Ebirah with their friends, the trio started looking for Gigan. However, a different being appeared, which turned out to be Gyaos, which began to confront Rodan. After being thrown into the water, Gyaos was killed by Godzilla's Atomic Breath. Manda appears and joins Godzilla.
On the way, Godzilla and his friends met Mothra, who told Godzilla about a prophecy of two chimeras that would appear and cause destruction. Godzilla begins to think, and agrees to join Mothra. A while later he separated from his companions in order to find other monsters that could ally with him, and also to find the Flowery Desert faster. On the way he met Zilla, who after being ignored began to follow him, but separated from him after Godzilla gave him an angry look. Godzilla came to the Kasai Valley in Africa, where he began to hear whale noises, which came from the plant beast Biollante, who began to fight Godzilla, but was defeated after he found her weak point, her core. Tired, Godzilla slept in the savannah. He would be awakened the next morning by Reizaus, his old partner. However, Reizaus began to confront Godzilla, but after he hit him on the head, he returned to normal. He had been mind controlled, from what he says is an alien named Ghidorah.
Worried about what Reizaus told him, Godzilla went to the ocean and left the place. He encountered the aquatic dinosaur Titanosaurus, who faced Godzilla underwater, and later brought the fight to land. Godzilla would be victorious thanks to the appearance of his other former partner Gorosaurus. Godzilla forgave Titanosaurus and left, while the two dinosaurs and Reizaus followed him. Upon arriving in North America, Godzilla met his two friends Anguirus and Rodan, who in control of Ghidorah confronted him, but were quickly released after being hit on the head. Then Ghidorah's allies appeared; Orga, Hedorah, Megaguirus, Dogora, Ganimes and another Gyaos, this time albino. Godzilla and his companions began to fight with them, but Godzilla would be knocked out by a blow from Orga's huge hands.
After that, he was taken by Orga to Antarctica, where Ghidorah, Gigan and SpaceGodzilla were. Orga showed them Godzilla, and Ghidorah began to examine him, but seeing that it was not a big deal, he threw him into the cold ocean and left with his allies. Godzilla woke up frozen, and got loose using the heat from his back plates. He walked a bit and found Mothra, also frozen on the ocean floor. Godzilla brought her to the surface and warmed her again with his back plates. Mothra recovered, and Kamoebas and Maguma appeared, both bowing to Godzilla, who did not understand and began to walk as usual. The others followed him. Godzilla and Mothra reached the place where the chimeras came from, but not worrying as much as Mothra. Then in the distance he saw a huge broad silhouette, and it turned out to be all the other land kaiju, controlled by Ghidorah, including his friends Anguirus, Rodan, Gorosaurus, and Reizaus.
The monsters (around twenty) pounced on Godzilla, who could hardly move. Attacks everywhere; Baragon's fire breath, Gorosaurus' kangaroo kick and Titanosaurus' sonic waves. However, Godzilla managed to use his Nuclear Pulse ability, which spread the kaijus to everywhere, now freed from mind control. After getting up, Anguirus, Rodan, Gorosaurus, Reizaus, and the other kaijus approached Godzilla, all bowing before him. Godzilla understood that it was a praise, and then he began to move with the other kaijus behind him. Mothra was surprised, and knew that she was what the prophecy called "the dragon".
Later, Godzilla and the group would sleep at night, but Gigan had arrived, and had a confrontation with Godzilla, causing a near vertical wound to his chest. Anguirus, Mothra, and Gorosaurus helped him, but Mothra would end up with a damaged wing trying to catch Gigan. Godzilla caught Gigan and dropped him with him, finally firing an Atomic Breath-like beam, called the Spiral Heat Ray, with which he would decapitate the cyborg. Later he and the group of kaijus would continue walking, but would be found by Ghidorah and the rest of the aliens, and they would start a battle. Mothra eventually defeated Desghidorah and Dagahra, but was incinerated by Ghidorah's Gravity Beams. Godzilla, seeing what happened, would see Mothra, who would transport her energy to Godzilla's plates.
Seeing her comrades defeated, Ghidorah would take Godzilla into space, where they would have a fierce battle, first on the moon, and later on Mars. There Ghidorah would drain the energy of Godzilla, who for the first time would use the energy granted by Mothra in his favor, firing a much more powerful version of the Atomic Breath, the Infinite Heat Ray, with which he would decapitate the middle head of Ghidorah. Ghidorah would again grab Godzilla and fall along with him into the ocean, being seen by the rest of the earthly kaijus. Ghidorah would regenerate her middle head, and fire gravity beams and electric volts towards Godzilla, who would use the Infinite Heat Ray for longer, and finally pierce Ghidorah's chest with it, finally killing her. Godzilla would roar, and go with the other earthly kaijus to Iwato Island, everyone's current home.
Design[]
The design and appearance of Godzilla mix qualities of different incarnations of this, mainly the Showa and Millennium, but it maintains his traditional appearance; a dinosaur-like creature with plaques on its back. Most of the design is similar to the KiryuGoji shown in Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla, but the head has a straight snout and round ears. The body is similar to that of the FinalGoji in Godzilla: Final Wars, with the exception that the plates resemble those of the MusukoGoji in Son of Godzilla. In addition, gills are added to the neck, which is present in all the Showa Godzilla designs.
Abilities[]
Atomic Breath[]
The most characteristic ability of Godzilla is also present in this incarnation. Godzilla shines his dorsal plates, which emit a blue glow, and then shoots a beam of the same color through his mouth, named the Atomic Breath (also called heat ray). This ability is efficient with most of his opponents, but not with Gigan.
Spiral Heat Ray[]
Godzilla has a more powerful version of the atomic breath. When used, Godzilla makes his back plates shine more than usual, and fires a powerful beam with a spiral around it. This beam called the Spiral Heat Ray, which was powerful enough to destroy the head of Gigan, who was immune to normal Atomic Breath. iT can also push large opponents like Ghidorah several meters away.
Infinite Heat Ray[]
Godzilla would finally get a much more powerful version of Atomic Breath after Mothra transferred her energy to Godzilla's plates. This ray is reddish in color, and is called the Infinite Heat Ray, which Godzilla used to decapitate Ghidorah's middle head, and also to pierce his chest during their last confrontation.
Nuclear Pulse[]
Godzilla emits atomic energy from his entire body, and activates a short-distance attack, called the Nuclear Pulse. Godzilla used it when he was cornered by Ghidorah's mind control kaijus, and managed to get them away from their position, and at the same time freeing them from said control (from which they are normally freed after a strong blow to the head). Godzilla also used the nuclear pulse during his battle in space against Ghidorah, with which he managed to free himself from her grip. When Godzilla was about to die from Ghidorah's absorption of his energy, Godzilla would use the energy granted by Mothra, and use a reddish Nuclear Pulse to get rid of Ghidorah's jaws.
Durability[]
Godzilla is pretty tough. Strikes like those from Gigan's hammer hands didn't do much, and Gigan's lasers and Orga's shoulder cannon shot didn't affect him, just being burned slightly and blown away with the latter. The bites, scratches, and powers of the other terrestrial kaijus did nothing to him at all, only being immobilized. Godzilla also managed to resist the cut of Gigan's double saws, and proved resistant to Ghidorah's Gravity Beams.
Physical abilities[]
Godzilla possesses some experience in combat, usually striking, kicking, and also using his tail to stun his enemies. He can also run and jump despite his enormous weight. Godzilla also possesses incredible physical strength, being able to lift heavy opponents like Ghidorah.
Amphibiousness[]
Despite being technically a type of dinosaur, Godzilla has the ability to breathe both on land and in water just like amphibians, although this is mainly due to the fact that he has both a nose and gills.
Weaknesses[]
Although how powerful he is, Godzilla still has weaknesses. Godzilla's Atomic Breath is not effective with Titanosaurus' Sonic Waves, which have quite similar power. The blows from Orga's hands managed to knock him out, as most of the blows from his enemies did not hurt him. Godzilla can also freeze easily while in cold water, but can be freed from that by shining his back plates. Ghidorah's absorption of his energy would still affect him, not being able to respond soon and weakening. There are not many weaknesses he has, but they are still present.

Trivia[]
- That the gills on Godzilla's neck are holes is a reference to officially the holes in the neck of Godzilla's Showa suits being his gills. This is also a reference to the fact that these holes (present in all suits) are the media through which the actor inside can breathe.
