The Polariverse Godzilla is an incarnation of Godzilla that first debuted in Polaris VS Godzilla as the enemy of Titanus Polaris.
Appearance[]
The appearance of Godzilla is based off the monsterverse godzilla and shin godzilla (the latter being partially based off). This incarnation of the king of the monsters has large eyes with four sets of gills on each side of his neck. The legs are bulkier than other incarnations of Godzilla and resemble those of the monsterverse incarnation. The nostrils of this godzilla incarnation are more at the front of its face, resembling a primate's. The teeth bear a resemblance to those of mammals instead of a set of reptilian teeth. Instead of the dorsal fins being the same color as this Godzilla himself, the dorsal fins are grey and some are also blue. This incarnation of Godzilla also has a prehensile tail, which he uses it to grab and constrict his enemies. When Godzilla fires his atomic breath, his dorsal spines glow in color and the tail is lifted up in the air with transparent eyelids covering Godzilla's eyes. Godzilla has a rough, crocodilian skin that is bluish grey in color, unlike most incarnations of Godzilla which have a black skin. Godzilla's arms are relatively long and muscular, and do not extend that far from his chest, which bears a prominent, axe-shaped pointed sternum. This Godzilla's claws are a white color, and are very short in comparison to its arms. His head is far larger than the monsterverse Godzilla, which has a small head.
History[]
Origins[]
Though not explained in the film, godzilla was portrayed as an ancient aquatic reptile that hibernated underwater for several million years before being awakened and mutated by a bomb testing that wiped out all of his species, similar to the history of other godzilla incarnations.
Polaris VS Godzilla[]
Godzilla was first seen using his atomic breath in a dock off screen, though he was mentioned as a "giant figure". He then made his on screen appearance where he was awakened by a rise in volcanic activity and came on land to wreak havoc once again. However he was later battled by another kaiju named Titanus Polaris, which he was followed by all the way towards a mountain area, where they began a fierce battle, which obliterated a village in the process. Godzilla gained the upper hand over polaris the first time, but was retaliated by polaris slashing his neck, causing a massive amount of blood to drop. Godzilla then used his atomic breath against polaris, but the sauropsid was able to resist the signature attack of Godzilla, and then attacked godzilla in return. Godzilla then constricted polaris on the neck using his tail in retaliation, though the head was still exposed and was able to bite the tail, causing a part of the tail to fall apart. After being constricted, polaris then bit Godzilla's dorsal spines, causing blood to drop, Godzilla then swam away to the ocean to recover. In a second battle, Godzilla was grabbed by polaris' claws and was thrown away to a building, crumbling it. Godzilla then stood up again and bit polaris on the sides, causing blood to drop, polaris then roared at Godzilla's head directly, causing Godzilla to get stunned while polaris slashed at Godzilla's chest. After gaining consciousness, Godzilla grabbed polaris and used his atomic breath at polaris' sail, sending him fleeing back towards the ocean. And Godzilla became victorious after the battle, for once.
Abilities[]
- Atomic Breath - Godzilla's most notable attack, you guys already know about it so i dont need i need to explain it.
- Constriction - Godzilla is able to constrict his opponents using his prehensile tail. This was proven to be lethal against polaris, though he was able to bite it.
- Durability - Godzilla has displayed an uncanny ability to sustain damage throughout his films.
- Physical abilities - Godzilla is able to smash skyscrapers and lift weights exceeding 2,000 metric tons as attributed to his size.
- Amphibiousness - Godzilla, while being a reptile, possesses an amphibious lifestyle. He is an adept fighter both on land and underwater.
- Intelligence - Godzilla is depicted as a thinking animal in his films, in Polaris VS Godzilla, he figures out that polaris' weakness is his tail, and then unleashes an atomic breath directly at it.
Weaknesses[]
Despite his incredible power, Godzilla has displayed a few weaknesses over the years. He is shown to be vulnerable to the neck and dorsal spines in Polaris VS Godzilla. This was shown as Titanus Polaris slashed godzilla's neck, causing godzilla to roar in pain as blood dropped from it. He was also shown to be weak at the dorsal spines, as when titanus polaris bit the dorsal spines, causing godzilla to retreat from the battle.
