'An Old Friend' Is the second episode of Godzilla:Road to Kingship written by MechaZero101.
Plot[]
Godzilla had just surfaced on Japan, He was looking for something.
He fought through Kyoto, mostly not fighting back but just proceeding forwards. Godzilla eventually exited the city and kept proceeding forward, his sixth sense telling him where to go.
Godzilla eventually stumbled upon a cave, Godzilla roared as it is what he had looked for, But Godzilla wasn't alone, a familiar roar was heard, it was Anguirus!
Anguirus roared at Godzilla to which Godzilla did the same, the two got into a battle position and prepared for battle. Anguirus turned into his ball form and rammed Godzilla, being able to penetrate Godzilla'e thick hide, Godzilla roared in agony. Anguirus wanted to perform the same attack again only foe Godzilla to hit the giant ankylosaurus with his tail.
Anguirus fell on some trees, before getting up and digging down, Godzilla was confused until the ground under him started to violently shake, Anguirus bursted from the ground and performed an uppercut on godzilla sending Godzilla backwards and stunning the Gojiran.
Godzilla started to charge up his Atomic Breath as Anguirus was running towards Godzilla, Anguirus leaped above Godzilla only to be hit by his Atomic Breath right in the stomach.
Anguirus fell down,roaring in pain before getting up again, this is one determined kaiju! Anguirus unleashed a sound beam from his mouth that knocked Godzilla away and caused a painful beeping sound as well as nausia and temporary deafness, the same effects of a grenade.
Godzilla roared and so did Anguirus, the two monsters were about to battle again until a similar roar was heard, It was Angilas, Anguirus' father.
Godzilla saw Angilas and smiled, Angilas was an old friend of his father.
Angilas explained to his son who Godzilla is, and told the two to try and become friends, as so did he and Gojira, they fought the first time they've met, but became inseparable!
Angilas then invited the two to his cave, it was pretty fancy for a kaiju's home.
Godzilla told Angilas his true goal, to become the next King of The Monsters. Angilas turned silent.
Godzilla asked Angilas how his father became the King of The Monsters, Angilas agreed to tell him.
It was a dark day, the smell of death was everywhere, everyone thought it was the end...Until Gojira came.
But the Invaders also had a secret weapon, It was the ultimate monster, one that could not be defeated. It was....King Ghidorah!
