Fake Sepsis is a mutant pathogen, and an imperfect clone of Sepsis that debuted in KoopaGalaxain's main comic series, Periodic Genesis: Dawn of Sepsis. Out of the four of Sepsis's subordinates, Fake Sepsis is the closest in genome to Sepsis other than Organon, so much so that his base form bears a close resemblance to that of his creator.
Appearance[]
Fake Sepsis bears a close resemblance to the real Sepsis, but has a much paler coloration, and is predominantly grey and white in colour, save for his piercing magenta-coloured eyes, and the orb within his chest, which glows a similar colour.
As with Organon and Sepsis himself, Fake Sepsis possesses the ability to transform into an Ultimate Phenomenon, a far stronger 'ultimate form'. In Fake Sepsis's Ultimate Phenomenon form, Bloodstained Axon, Fake Sepsis's upper body becomes incorporated into a much larger, more visceral body which vaguely resembles a multipolar neuron, featuring a long grasping appendage analagous to an axon and telodendria, a round, fleshy sphere that represents the cell body, a large eye-like organ - taken from Fake Sepsis's chest orb, which migrates downward during the transformation - to represent the cell's nucleus, and a set of eight wings that resemble dendrites. Fake Sepsis's upper body remains largely unchanged in this form, though it is connected to the rest of his Ultimate Phenomenon's body by a set of fleshy tendrils that root him into place. Notably, Fake Sepsis's Ultimate Phenomenon form has numerous black orbs spread throughout its body, and its central appendage bears a close resemblance to the necks and arms of the real Sepsis's own Ultimate Phenomenon, further linking the two together.

Periodic Genesis: Dawn of Sepsis[]
Pre-Keratos Saga[]
After Sepsis broke free and began his reign of terror, he created three subordinates, Keratos, Myos and Organon. He then decided to initiate an experiment, as he was incapable of using the Absorption Inheritance ability that made his archnemesis so versatile in combat. Fake Sepsis was thusly created by Sepsis through genetic modification, as an attempt to produce a version of himself that could fight his opponent on equal terms.
However, it became clear that while Fake Sepsis was extremely powerful, showing impressive combat potential, he too was incapable of using Absorption Inheritance. Deemed a failure, Fake Sepsis was placed into suspended animation by his creator and hidden away, but kept to one side in case the situation would be so dire as for him to be brought back to the front line.
Post-Keratos Saga[]

Following the destruction of Keratos at the hands of WeegeeZilla and Germanium II, Fake Sepsis's consciousness began to reawaken within the dark void he had been placed in by his creator. As he reflected on Sepsis's words from the day he was sealed, his full appearance being restricted to just his silhouette, Fake Sepsis realised that 'the spark of existence' within him - which had long been suppressed by his suspended animation - had grown 'a little brighter'. Concluding that this meant the time for his eventual release was approaching, Fake Sepsis exclaimed that he couldn't wait for the day it finally happened.

Torrents and Andromedans[]
Having been obtained by the Andromedan Empire through unknown means, Fake Sepsis was put under their control unwillingly by having a mind control device, manned by an Andromedan soldier, placed on his back. Fake Sepsis was employed by the Andromedans to attack the Creators, but was freed from the aliens’ control by Torrent Envoy Machiavelli, who broke into the control device and killed the Andromedan inside, freeing him from the device's effects. Notably, despite his allegiance to Sepsis, Fake Sepsis did not attack the Creators and their allies after being freed from his Mind Control, though he warned them that there could come a day when he would be forced by his master to confront them. He left the Creators on good terms, vanishing to an unknown location.
Abilities[]
Inferior Duplicate[]
- Axonium Ray (アクソニウム熱線 Akusoniumu Nessen?): Fake Sepsis's signature energy beam. It is bright magenta in colour, and modelled after the real Sepsis's Lysis Ray. Unlike the Lysis Ray, Fake Sepsis's Axonium Ray lacks the ability to 'dissolve' targets, but makes up for it in sheer explosive power.
Ultimate Phenomenon[]
- Nucleus Storm (核の嵐 Kaku no Arashi?): Fake Sepsis can fire an extremely powerful beam of magenta-coloured energy from the eye-like nucleus on his Ultimate Phenomenon's body.
- Dendron Hellfire (デンドロン・ヘルファイア Dendoron Herufaia?): By slamming the end of his Ultimate Phenomenon's tendril into the ground, Fake Sepsis can cause bursts of flame to erupt from the ground, setting opponents ablaze.
- Axon Buster (軸索バスター Jikusaku Basutā?): After generating a vast quantity of energy in his Ultimate Phenomenon's cell body-like head, Fake Sepsis can discharge it through its tendril into an opponent.
- Telodendria Misericorde (テロデンドリア ミゼリコルド Terodendoria Mizerikorudo?): Fake Sepsis can use the long, razor-sharp pincers at the end of his Ultimate Phenomenon's tendril to slice at and stab opponents. These pincers are extremely thin and incredibly sharp, allowing them to effortlessly rend flesh.
Trivia[]
- Fake Sepsis's appearance in his Ultimate Phenomenon is a direct reference to Ultraman Belial atop Belyudra, who similarly remained visible in his normal form atop a much larger and more visceral body.
