Dairaiju is a category 4 Kaiju from Pacific Rim.
History[]
Just before the Breach was closed, the Precursors sent one last Kaiju through. Dairaiju, a more powerful Raiju. It soon appeared in Osaka. After being uninjured, and devastating the city, it returned to the ocean. The military soon dispatched a submarine squad to destroy the creature. They eventually tracked it to the Mariana Trench, where they opened fire on Dairaiju. Badly injured, Dairaiju sank into the trench.
Description[]
Dairaiju looks similar to it's forerunner, except with more spines. It's translucent head has larger teeth. The name is a pun of the term Daikaiju, which refers to a very powerful Kaiju, and the original Kaiju.
Abilities[]
- Breathing Photon Beams from the small head.
- Being virtually indestructible.
