Name[]
Canadanser's name is derived from Canada and anser, the Latin word for 'goose'.
Appearance[]
Canadanser is a massive Canada goose, standing at 45 metres tall. He wears a Canadian flag around his neck in the form of a ribbon, and also wears red boxing gloves.
History[]
Already a particularly territorial animal when he was at his original size, the goose that became Canadanser was frequently fed by tourists at the park in Toronto where he lived. Eventually, he began to grow in size from the charity of the people who 'attended' to him, reaching his maximum size fairly quickly.
After hearing of Symphion's arrival in the UK, Canadanser decided that he desired to fight an alien to prove to the world that he meant business, setting off across the Atlantic to seek out the recent arrival, but not before ripping off a flag to wear around his neck. He also removed two seemingly decorative giant boxing gloves from a billboard, and tied them around his neck for safekeeping while in flight.
Landing in Portsmouth Harbour, Canadanser waded out of the water and into the city, destroying buildings with punches and kicks as he made his way towards the hospital where Symphion was being held. Ripping the roof off the hospital and gaining access to Symphion's ward, he grabbed hold of the recovering alien and gripped him tightly. Terrified that he was going to die, Symphion cried out for help, and someone heard his pleas!
Belixa, who had been at work helping pedestrians cross a street nearby, immediately launched a counterattack on Canadanser, increasing his height to match the avian fiend. After being knocked back by Canadanser punching him in the head a few times, Belixa decided that enough was enough, and tried to use his Belisha Luminosity to blind his adversary.
With Canadanser distracted, Belixa went in for the knockout, and delivered a powerful uppercut against the giant goose, sending him tumbling to the floor! With Canadanser dazed, Symphion suddenly appeared and began counting to three.
"And that's a knockout!" Symphion exclaimed. As Canadanser regained consciousness on the floor, he looked at his opponent with an embarrassed expression; he had been bested by mere street furniture. With his pride sullied, he took to the air, and flew away home, aware that he had met his match.
Abilities[]
- Canadian-Style Waterfowl Fist (カナダ式水鳥拳 Kanada-shiki Suichō Ken?): Canadanser has his own unique fighting style reminiscent of boxing, and is adept at a number of different techniques, including uppercuts, kicks and hooks.
