Burning Godzilla is Earth-95’s version of the king of the monsters. He has the same abilities as the Burning Godzilla from the Heisei series, he has different enemies, as well as a few other powers.
Origins
A dinosaur from the Jurassic period, a mummified Godzillasaurus was reawakened and mutated into Godzilla, standing at 80 meters tall.
After nearly being killed by King Ghidorah, the JSDF was forced to help Godzilla and sent the new Mechagodzilla to help him. Ghidorah made quick work of the machine and nearly destroyed it. Left with no other option, Mechagodzilla fired it’s anchor cables and released the robot’s radiation and power source into the nearly defeated Godzilla. Godzilla absorbed the radiation and grew in height from 80 meters to 100meters. The radiation also caused Godzilla to glow bright orange and changed his atomic breath into the now permanent red spiral ray.
Godzilla destroyed King Ghidorah and remained victorious. However, due to his body still reacting to the new surge of power, Godzilla absorbed the radiation left over from King Ghidorah, giving him some of Ghidorah’s abilities.
Abilities
Red Spiral Ray
Burning Godzilla has an updated atomic breath called the red spiral ray. It can reach 1.2 million degrees Celsius and blast through most enemies.
Nuclear Pulse
An extreme version of the traditional nuclear pulse, Burning Godzilla can emit a strong blast from his body and destroy or knock off an opponent‘s attacks.
Gravity Beams
A power gained by absorbing King Ghidorah’s radiation, Godzilla can temporarily fire gravity beams from his eyes. While not as destructive as the red spiral ray, the attack helps fend off more than one opponent at a time.
Physical Strength
Burning Godzilla is extraordinarily strong, being able to lift most opponents, including King Ghidorah and Mechagodzilla, by just a small section of their body.
