Belixa is a sentient Belisha beacon from Universe 1616 created by KoopaGalaxain.
Name[]
Belixa's name is derived from 'Belisha beacon', a type of warning signal present at Zebra crossings in the UK and various other countries.
Appearance[]
Belixa is a strange-looking monster, having a vaguely-reptilian body but a large and spherical head with two black eyes, comprised of a beacon lamp. Adorning Belixa's body are various road signs (the number and type of said signs vary from day to day) and a set of traffic lights form a series of dorsal spines on his back, split into their three respective coloured lamps.
History[]
Originally just a humble Belisha beacon, Belixa was formed one night when the signal became struck by mysterious cosmic radiation! Ever since then, Belisha made it his mission to protect Universe 1616's Earth's roads, protecting innocent pedestrians and motorists from dangerous drivers and criminals.
Abilities[]
- Belisha Luminosity: Belixa can emit blinding flashes from his beacon lamp head.
- Belisha Evaporation: Belixa can emit an even more powerful blinding flash from his beacon lamp head, capable of evaporating opponents with just a single use. However, this technique can only be used when Belixa is sufficiently enraged.
- No Stopping Sign: Belixa can wield a no stopping sign as a melee weapon.
- Stop Sign: Belixa can summon a stop sign and slam it into the ground to immobilise opponents.
Trivia[]
- Alongside the Haemophagic Demon Tree, Belixa was one of the first non-sprite monsters of mine that was planned to make an appearance on the Fan Made Kaiju Wiki, around the time that I joined and started to make edits - however, whereas the Haemophagic Demon Tree got its page, Belixa went unfinished and unused until January 2018, when I discovered the unfinished design and finished it off! As such, Belixa's 'birth date' reflects this.
